Guillermo Tabraue III, Esq., M.D. is a Miami native, born to Cuban parents who arrived in the United States circa 1960, as they fled from their communist-controlled homeland. He was raised in Miami, Florida, and left his hometown in 1998 to attend medical school. After the first two years of medical school, his mother became gravely and terminally ill, and he decided to return to Miami to help care for his mother during what would be the most difficult and trying period of his life. After his mother passed away, he began to lose his passion and interest in the medical field. It became quite difficult for him to witness patients’ pain and suffering firsthand, as he would inevitably become involved in patients’ lives and be affected by their suffering, stirring memories of his mother’s suffering and death. Despite this difficulty, he still found the fortitude to complete his studies and earn his Medical Doctorate (MD) degree. Dr. Tabraue then opted to take his medical knowledge and apply it elsewhere – to seek justice for those that have suffered serious injuries due to some else’s negligence. Upon returning to Miami, Dr. Tabraue earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree, vowing to dedicate his professional life to seeking justice for the injured.
